If you enjoy cycling, or have cycling enthusiasts in your organisation, here's an invitation you might find very attractive.
The annual cycle-fest, OCBC Cycle Singapore, will include a special new category this year — The Business Times Corporate Charity Ride, which will be run as part of The Challenge (39km) ride on Sunday, March 4, 2012.
For this category, companies can send in teams of four riders each. The entry fee of $3,300 per team includes a $2,750 donation to Dover Park Hospice and a $550 registration fee for a team of four, with the donation of $2,750 qualifying for a tax deduction.
Full details, including how to register, can be found at this link:
This event do not only help to raise funds for Dover Park Hospice, but also raises awareness of our hospice’s compassionate cause. With more people needing palliative care as Singapore's aging population grows, we hope to spread the message that it's is not just about caring for the patients but also providing support for their families and care-givers. Your participation and support would go a long way towards achieving both these goals.
Please help to spread the word about this event to your friends, family or company. The OCBC Cycle Singapore 2012 can be a corporate-cum-family event, with family and friends taking part in the many fun categories, with colleagues cheering on your corporate teams. Having fun while doing good – it's win-win all the way.
Kindly note that registration closes at midnight on Sunday, 19 February 2012 or sooner should the maximum capacity be reached.
We appreciate your help on the above.
