On National Day, The Straits Times published an article about how food helps to restore agency and dignity for palliative care patients.

Dover Park Hospice Nurse Manager Ms Quek Yanting shared insight into how our colleagues satisfy the food cravings of patients. For example, patients with swallowing difficulties might have thickener added to their coffee or tea to help with swallowing, and those who cannot digest their favourite food but want to taste it may chew and spit it out to enjoy the flavour safely.
