The course aims to develop participants’ theoretical and practical knowledge in delivering competent, evidence-informed holistic palliative care in any healthcare setting by enhancing their role as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Understand the principles and overview of palliative care services in Singapore
- Identify psychosocial, emotional and spiritual issues in palliative care
- Articulate the role of Advance Care Planning
Identify ethical issues in palliative care - Demonstrate effective communication skills in palliative care
- Describe the aims of Palliative Rehabilitation
- Recognise the importance of caregiver support, grief and bereavement issues
