How We Can Support You

What is Palliative Care?

Palliative care focuses on helping patients with life-limiting illnesses to live as comfortably and meaningfully as possible. It goes beyond treating physical symptoms. It is a holistic approach that cares for the whole person — supporting not only physical comfort, but also emotional, psychosocial and spiritual well-being.

At Dover Park Hospice, care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of palliative care professionals who work closely together to develop care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

We Care for Everyone

As a secular hospice, we provide care for all, regardless of faith or background. Our approach ensures every patient and family is treated with compassion, respect and dignity.

Seamless Care between Hospital and Hospice

We support all hospitals nationwide by providing palliative inpatient, home care and day care in the community. Based in the same building as Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), we also worked with their Palliative Care team as part of our Integrated Palliative Care Programme that provides seamless transfer of care between hospitals and hospice.

Caregiver Support

Families and loved ones are an important part of the care process. Our Social Work and Psychosocial Services team provides psychosocial support addressing the emotional, social, mental and practical needs of caregivers, providing guidance, reassurance and practical help so that they feel better equipped to care for their loved ones.

It also helps families navigate the complex emotions of loss and provide continued support throughout the bereavement journey.
